Have fun visiting your grandchildren! Sounds fun. Yes, that is one of my Dels. I have four. Can't wait for them to grow a bit! They're living in a small tractor coop that I've sold, and I need to give it to the buyer in 2-3 weeks. Well, the new coop won't be done by then, so I'll just have to integrate the Dels to the current main coop. Should be good, since they already know each other and "hang out" during the day, plus they'll live together in the new coop. They'll be bigger by then (around 9-10 weeks old)

The coop is enclosed except for the ventilation and the front soffit trim, plus the hundreds of other things that need doing like trim around all doors, the front window, the interior, etc, etc. I'm going to put a little awning over the sliding pop door, but that side of the coop doesn't get much weather against it. Cyn did you ever sell your place and move. Either way the coop looks nice and big. Though they never are big enough.

Also I meant the pics of the chicks. Were they your dels?

The Dels claudia is hatching are from my dels I took to her. I didn't get any del eggs from her. She had none to give.

I did get some Silkies and BBS and RIRs'. One egg she says is a Porcelain Silki. I hope it hatches.

Nick's came from one hen, Georgie. She is a good looking hen, but has hackles that are too laced and dark, not barred as much as they should be and she throws very dark sons, I've found, too dark really.

No, Tim, I never sold my place. I quit trying. I do have the lowest part of my property up for sale, a nice 1.77 acre lot.

Why did you want to sell your place, Cyn? It's perfect! I would love to live somewhere like that. Also, I was wondering how Georgie and Ellie are doing? Haha... I love them... Especially Georgie. My babies' mama!
