This is Ranger today. He's up for rehoming. I just saw this precocious little 9 week old whippersnapper mate Nugget! I'm not kidding you and she actually squatted for him. Amazing how patient she is with him. I kept watching him thunk her on the head and told DH that it looked like he was doing some preliminary mating activity and darned if I wasn't right.

Boy ol Ranger sure would go good with my Delawegger girls my Delawegger boy isnt colored like a delawegger he is black with red lacing don't know where that came from the EE hen was blue-wheaton colored anyway my left hand is slapping right hand saying NO, no more roosters. Ive been butchering 5 roosters a day for the last 3 days every morning in the cool part of the day and still got a lot more to do around 60 or so. I really was prosperous

this year with my hatching of roosters as usual approx. 70/30 I never have had a 50/50 ratio yet must be something in the water 'round here.

Oh I know it but it's just not gonna happen I'm so rooster poor now its pittiful, I've got to get back down to earth here in chicken numbers. I really over-did it this year and its starting to take its toll now esp. with the feed bill. Oh well atleast we can eat, its prolly comparable to caviar now on the price/oz. but atleast I got something to show for outta all that hard work and feed.

anyway till later on g'nite all

Jeff
