Oh, just shoot me now.

Got maybe two hours of actual sleep all night. Sitting at the flea market this morning is going to be torturous. Must...go........

aaawwwwwwww wait I got it! You cannot go because Zane needs to go outside and someone has to watch him (which you can do with one eye open from your hammock) and then there is Ike to keep an eye on and Caroline....oh and of course poor Ranger....sorry too much to do today...Tom must go by himself *looking around innocently*

*think that will work?*

Lord have mercy, the yard is full of them. They like the area around the sceptic tank cuz it's dry most of the time and warm I would imagine. I did put a box in the run for sand but they pushed it all out and I've yet to buy more.

I took pictures of Ranger on an ad. All that did was introduce me to folks who have some Delawares and thought he was cute, but that's it. It was at least pleasant. We had a table under a huge sweetgum tree and were in the shade the entire time. Didn't sell much. The big day for that small flea market is really Wednesday so we may go back. A table costs $4 for the day.

PAY to have someone take him! Offer $2. for him to go to a good home!
OR, sell something and he goes with the item!

Last resort .......... eat him!

I've had him too long to eat him, I fear.

I did let him out when I let Isaac out with the main flock. Ike ignored him-seemed more interested in fussing with Suede. He saw him and was about ten feet away from him several times, but didn't make a move to chase him. Maybe he's just so used to seeing Ranger running all over the property from the time he was a little chick, who knows? Ranger eventually wanted back in with Rex's group after Snow jumped on him. Guess he learned who NOT to mess with! If Ike will ignore him, I may just let him go into the main flock along with the EE and Olive Egger girls. The Buff Orps they grew up with, Gracie and Hope, are already incorporated into that flock quite well. Then, I could still try to find Ranger a home, but it wouldn't be such a critical thing. He could help dear old dad with the roosterly duties.

Caroline, my Buff Brahma, isn't doing very well. She acts like she has an obstruction in her throat, but only occasionally. She's my daily sneezer anyway, has been for years, her head seems too small for her body so could be her nasal passages are not formed correctly, so of course, she was one of my worst ones when the fungal thing hit. She seemed to recover, then I ended up calling the state vet about her when her eyes looked weird. He said she seemed to have developed sinusitis following the fungal deal and he was positive it was nothing contagious after hearing the story, told us to do Tylan for a few days to get her through it. We were relieved as we were about to put her down. Well, she wasn't sneezing much in the house, but she kept thrusting her head forward like trying to swallow, holds her head up too high (seems to me, may be my imagination) and when she breathes, her entire throat expands way too much. It's quite odd and puzzling.

We may just lose her anyway. Miranda would be upset-she was looking for Caroline today, it seemed to us. Those two are the same age as Suede, so not young girls anymore. Her eyes are bright and clear and there's not much else to do for her so we put her back with Miranda tonight. I did give her eggs with lots of oil in case there was something in her throat that could be moved along by the oil.

Egg production is way down and the youngsters aren't laying yet (except for Molly) so I wormed all four flocks, every last bird, today with invermectin pour on. Seemed a good time, just after a hot humid summer and while there won't be many eggs to miss during withdrawal.

Since I got only about two hours sleep last night, I'm going to bed early tonight. Good night, all. Love you guys.

Good night dear friend...I will be praying for sweet Caroline and Miranda.....she will miss her terribly. If Miranda knows DeDe and they do okay together, I would gladly bring Miranda here to hang with DeDe if she loses Caroline and is lonely. Just an offer and a thought for you. She would get the studly Lancelot to protect her. hehehehe

Oh I wanted you folks in the SDWD thread to know how shocked and appalled I am but I have to inform you that....

Cynthia aka Cyn aka Speckledhen sells you expensive ($0.00) defective eggs/birds and tries to claim they come from the unquestionably PERFECT Suede HA I have proof that Suede's women are defective....

a child with hairy feet!
lau.gif

Cheyenne comes running in the house the other day and says "Mom, Nutmeg has hairy feet" I said "She what? She just has something stuck on her foot go get it off...hairy feet indeed" she says "Mom I am telling you she has hair between her toes" I said "Go get her and bring in here"
barnie.gif

In comes Chy holding Nutmeg (the daughter of Suede and the now dubbed Defective Meg) and sure enough....she has feather fuzz between her toes so I took a picture and called Cynthia immediately to demand a refund.

I said "Cyn I am calling to demand a refund on a defective bird" *snicker* and her mind immediately went to the other defective bird she sold me for $0.00 the paralyzed only when you look at her, Junebug and I said Noooooo I mean the one with the hairy feet *snicker* Cyn says "What?" So I told her what happened and what I saw and immediately the bad seller in her came out, she DARED to try to throw the blame elsewhere....she tried to blame it on Suede. I want it known right this second by you all that she is being mean to him and I need to bring him home with me when I go to pick up his perfect kids in a few weeks...ahem but I digress....

Yes, she claims that Suede has feather sprouts on one foot....can you believe it...blaming that perfect boy for those defective women she threw in there with him. Well Ms Cynthia I am shocked!
ep.gif
Shocked I say You are being mean to Suede because he does not lay eggs right? Stereotyping to the highest regard I see...well you just have his little suitcase packed when I get there madame because I will bring him here and love him, pet him, spoil him tell him how perfect he is and not give him defective women for him to be the scapegoat for

That poor abused perfect blue tank.

Here is the photographic evidence of Meg's defects...the defective child, Nutmeg

So you all watch this woman when getting birds from her because they have defects...hairy feet *snicker* or the fall down paralyzed when you look at them syndrome.

*chuckling her way to bed for the night*

That must be someone else's chicken, then. You have confused a child of the PERFECT Suede and the AWESOMELY BEAUTIFUL Meg for a wayward child of some other defective chicken pairing.
tongue.png
I will inform you, woman, that Suede does NOT have hairy feetsies! Meg has not one single feather stub on her lovely white legs or between her fat toes, either.

Well, Sueders has one teensy, weensy fuzzlet between two of his big perfect toes, but that's IT. He could not have passed on those positively hairy feet to a child of his, no way. Besides, I see you have Nutmeg's head shot and then the shot of those weird feet separated. How do I know that those are really Nutmeg's feet, eh?

I did think you were talking about Junebug. I do not issue refunds on FREE birds. <snicker>
