Excuse me for butting in, but I've had to use a magnifying glass to read this screen which is 20". I can't read my darn cell phone. I carry one of those little credit card magnifying glasses in my wallet.

I did have another reason for logging in but darn if I can remember what I wanted to ask you now. Lord have mercy.

Old age........

Quote by Bette Davis: "Old age ain't no place for sissies."

There is always a lot to be thankful for, if you take the time to look. For example, I'm sitting here thinking how nice it is that wrinkles don't hurt. ~Author Unknown

Youth is a wonderful thing. What a crime to waste it on children. ~George Bernard Shaw

HA! A laptop screen is barely bigger than 10.2 inches. Bette Davis is wrong....fighting against old age is not for sissies. I ain't ready to give in to it just yet. I use a magnifying glass to do my beadwork ssssshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Ok so I remembered it, I think.

I got these coupons for Purina chicken feed. Is anyone having trouble finding a distributor? I figured if it will save $3 on a bag what the heck. Only thing is I can't find it.

Also is there anyone who mixes their own feed? or throws in some sale feed now and then? I usually feed just Dumor since it's the cheapest here abouts.

If this ain't what I was going to ask I'll be back.

I'm still kickin just not so high.

My laptop has a 17 inch screen!

You aren't old enough to even know what old age problems are!

pffffffttttttt tell my body that

Tim...I do. I mix commerical feed with a combination of fresh grains for my crew. I only use Dumor 24% chick starter after they get a flock raiser as a grow out and then a home milled layer pellet from a local mill as layers. With that they mix of rolled barley, BOSS, rolled oats, alfalfa pellets, scratch grains, flax seeds and dried split peas when I can find them and red winter wheat berries when available.

Here is their grain mix which is mixed one scoop to two scoops of their commerical feed.
