I expect pictures on the morrow dear friend. As for me, I'm about to wind up with keyboard dents in my forehead. The sure sign of a forum addict, huh?

For those interested in the F2 hatch today..... 5PM (7 more hours) will mark "day 21."
Not getting alot of yellow chicks this time. (30% light chicks so far.) 20 dark and 6 light have hatched. One appears to be a light buff color, may be 2 buffs. One chick looks really white. They are still drying off and fluffing up though.

I'm incubating some more Suedelettes for LH since her visit was delayed a month. Well, guess what? As usual, power outage for an hour. I told someone that I think TriState EMC has a spy cam in our house and when they see my bator humming along perfectly, they giggle and pull the plug. The truck came down the power line easement behind the house and we asked if he knew what happened. Said no, probably a squirrel. Only in the mountains can one rodent bring the entire power grid to a grinding halt. He didn't mention that it was their squirrel running in place on their treadmill who is getting too old for the job.

Thanks, Kathy. Oh, the humongous oak limb that peeled partially down high up on a tree behind the house finally came down last night. It hit the ground and bounced sideways, the butt of the limb rested on an oak outside the picket fence so it didn't hit our house and didn't crush the fence. Thank goodness for small favors! I was dreading when it finally came down, not knowing which way it was going to go. It rained last night, but wasn't windy so it probably just slowly was peeling down by its sheer weight. Now, we just have to cut it up somehow without it falling on us.
