Alright beth, we need to get this figured out. You get the dels, I get the NH. Got it? Good.

Kathy, my friend mr judgeman wants two trios of NH (best case scenario, I say sell him a pair and he can make his own). He has blue and black giants to trade

Have you considered contacting the local farm co-op and seeing if you can buy feed in bulk. You are going thru 3/4 of a ton per month!!!!! Surely it would be cheaper (if you have a place to store it)

Well, I don't know how to do that. Local farm co-op, I have no idea what that is or where to look. I am stupid on that topic. I do have a place I could store it, if I knew where or how to contact someone to do this.

Are there any local farmers with chicken houses (grow chickens for the poultry companies)? If so, I'd ask them where they buy feed

Just a thought

None that I know of. I am thinking I could ask around at the feed store though. There is a huge farm business for pigs, all over the county. I wonder if I could check with them. At least maybe I could get some information.

Kathy, once upon a time someone on here was going to buy pallet quantities from purina of layena.....even with shipping costs it was cheaper.....maybe try calling them direct considering the pounds you go through.

You could probably indeed get it cheaper from a feed mill. Just invest in some big bins or barrels and buy a month or two at a time....

Well, if we can get the 2 extra boys from Beth, assuming they are as nice as the guy you posted earlier.....pair each up with one of your pullets....and then sell him 2 pairs.....teehee. may as well make some money back. He was talking about how he paid $50 a bird for his black lf cochin culls he bought from some other dude.
