Aww, Cyn, Nugget looks so happy with her adorable baby.

Amy, I love your captions, they make my day

I have been so busy lately trying to get things done while we have warm weather. I got the camper gutted [well my son did

], painted, and bought a sheet of plastic wall board to put in for a dropping board. Just have a few more things to do to finish it. DH needs to move it to a different location and fence it off.
I have also been trying to strip and re paint an old corner cabinet that belonged to DH's grandparents.

Do you ever rest, woman???? I can hardly wait to see the camper coop! Hope you are taking pictures!

Rest???? Oh yeah, that's what I do in winter

No pics yet of the camper coop but I will get some soon. I got lilac colored paint at Habitat Re Store for the inside

I am working on getting the rabbits all set up in the garage/shed for winter. A nice side effect of this is that what used to be 12x10 feet of covered space in the (doorless) garage/shed that the chickens could reach...has now become 24x10. Plenty of room for them to hang out in bad weather.

Got the new 10 foot panel of rabbit cages sort of hung up. Drill went dead. Will finish cutting doors tomorrow, and then finish hanging them.

Also, moved a panel of cages from the laundry room outside as well.

Still have 6 cages in the laundry room. 2 more will move out and the other 4 will stay inside. The teeny babies will stay in the house, along with their skinny mom. All other bunnies will move outside.

I currently have 2 bunnies in my 2 broody breaker cages. Once they are out, i will hang them up in the garage also....just to make broody breaking a little easier! LOL

Since I always have broodies......sigh......

Helen Keller the half blind leghorn/giant hen is broody. She is on 13 bantam cochin eggs.

Awwww, sweet! Is she a good broody mama?
My BCMarans mama is not the best. She often lets the chicks roam around and doesn't call them. She is very quiet. She does better in her pen than when I let her out. Maybe because she is low in the pecking order now? She didn't use to be though. She acts like she misses running around with her sisters.

Can you see the 5 chicks in all the leaves? One New Hampshire and 4 Silver Laced Wyandottes.

Yep, my dad has been helping. I build the cages.....he helped me carry the laundry room ones down the hill and then helped me hang the big panel of cages.

He's not much of a builder

But he can hold up a heavy cage like a champ! LOL

You know how i always fall down the hill? He fell down the hill TWICE this week. It must run in the family.........
