Some of Tom's family lives in Woodstock. We are about an hour and a half northeast of there.



P.S. I think I'll cut my hair. This fine and thinning mop is too ragged and out of shape. I think I'll go for one I had early on, way back when my boys were very young and my hair was thicker. Since I have hair quite a bit like Jody Foster's, wavy and fine (though, of course, much thinner now), I'll pick one of her layered shaggy do's like she had in The Brave One, if you saw that movie.

This is sort of the style I'm thinking of, though Tom thinks NO woman should have short hair. He says whatever I want to do is fine, of course. Sorry, when it's as thin as mine is, if I keep it really long, I look like Benjamin Franklin.

I'm a big fan of her as an actress, for sure. She's certainly a tiny slip of a woman, very UNlike me, but our hair is similar. Here is me in 1992:
