uh......now my rabbit friends are coming down with the plague as well.

WHOOPS.

Back at work today. Yuck. Only 200something emails waiting for me when I returned...

Fortunately my head is so plugged up I can't hear much. Awfully quiet in this office lol.....I might miss a freight train at this point....

I'm better now. Just an occasional cough, no biggie. I just never get sick. Very rare if I do.

Raining like crazy here. It rained all day yesterday, all night, and still going good today. I don't know how many inches we have so far, but it is a muddy mess. I hate doing chores in the rain and mud. I am happy that it is nearly 60* out though, to reach 66 today. It could be worse, and be freezing.

Well I confess to taking ZiCam, and its working. Sore throat is gone, and I am less congested already, so neener, neener Amy, I can yell at LH all I want.

Nella, you sound like you got the most horrible case of whatever it is we have, and I hope things bet better today.

Cetawin, it does sound like you have a plan and have this in hand, so the rest of us canjust pray for you, or do whatsoever our personal beliefs call for on your behalf.

Of course, hugging a horse or chicken will make you feel better in general, so go lean on the Diva for a bit of peace while she munches. And DO please keep us posted.

Kathy, hope your recovery continues. The only time the runs stink is when it is raining, do NOT slip in the muck and fall!

SUEDE!!!! ATTA BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I called one of my Ohio coworkers today and started off with "hi, this is janelle..." and he said "good thing you identified yourself cause you sound nothing like normal! I had no idea who this was..."

My head is so plugged up. Ugh.......

But back to work today. One of my coworkers (the one who has to do most of my work when I'm out) was so happy to see me. So gratifying! LOL. She said "I don't know how much you get paid, but you need to make a million dollars" Ha ha ha ha. Gee, apparently my territory is hard work

Alright LH, cough up how the dr stuff went today. Before Kathy comes and beats you up.

We are in a holding pattern at the moment....the insurance company came up with the name of the quack Brandon warned me about so I told them to go back to the drawing board and look North instead of South. So they are checking closer to Cincinnati and will call tomorrow. Meanwhile, I spoke at length to a cardio surgeon from the Mayo in Houston and feel much better. I also talked to my mother who has 6 of these, including one that was dangerousy near a kidney, I even talked to my father about the three he had, 2 of which had blood clots accompanying them. I am much more relaxed and focused about this now. So I cancelled my Chiro treatment, even my massage this afternoon until I can get more info. I am getting the cracked tooth pulled at 10 am and then I will be back here on the phone looking for a better endo or a cardio specialist to deal with this thing and the WHOLE picture, including the "calcified lymphe node " that appeared on the chest x ray a few weeks back, did not appear on the upper x rays from the chiro.

Aside from that, the Mayo cardio surgeon told me about lifting and bending and wild s*x swinging from chandeliers so I'm good really.

I gotta share this with you....my Diva Do and Lancelot....This evening I went down to feed Diva Do and normally she runs into the barn, skids to a stop, sends dust flying and squeals at me. Well she walked into the barn and nickered at me. So I mixed her food up in her bucket and walked down to get her hay and normally she would be prancing and squealing but she was pacing quietly waiting. So I grabbed her hay and picked up her bucket and ducked under her rope and she walked into the stall and waited for me to drop her hay into place and she took 2 steps backwards and waiting for me to put her grain in her feed pan. Normally I would turn around and tell her "there is your dinner or nums nums" and she would squeal and nudge at me to move. Well I turned around and said "There's my girl's num nums" and she put her forelock against my tummy and turned her head to the right and was nuzzling me with this little quiet squeak noise. So I rubbed her ears and neck and got drool kisses on my chin. So I closed her gate and turned to go check that all the birds were inside and there was Lancelot. I said "Hey Buddy, come on let's get the girls" and he walked beside me all the way back to the coop and waited for his nightly "Good Night my boy, I love you" and he hopped into the coop for the night. I swear they could both tell I did not feel well and was tired. Such good babies I have, not a bit of trouble from anyone. Even Hector, Atlas and his brother.
