That's funny, I just named my little boy Soloman too after Ink suggested it. I am glad Reba is hanging in there. On the migraines, I used to get them once or twice a year. In the last year I have had probably 10. Can't help but wonder if it is due to the "change"?
Okay ya'll quick story about Tribbles....back ions ago when Bill and are were just online friends and falling for each other I asked him for a pic ....he sent me one of Captain Kirk on the bridge of the Enterprise surrounded by Tribbles. DH was named after Captain Kirk by his Trekkie father...his name is William Kirk Smith and family calls him "Kirk" soooooo you see why they are dear to my heart.
Anywhoooo I finally got the quilt and shams up on auction
and for Amy's Delawegger enjoyment...the chicken that thinks she is people and has absolutely NO desire to be a chicken in any way Junebug doing the only thing she wants to do in life....be held. She tries to get in my Jeep, she follows all other people, me, Bill and she is like a puppy trailing along behind Cheyenne no matter where she goes or what she does...even into the duckie coop and the front door of the house *sigh*
The affectionately called "Goober" my talking dog Casca....on his new bed; he loves talking to Cyn on the phone *sigh*
The duckie house stained and occupied:
Mama Mounds and babies, The other ducks are in the lower part of pic with the divider wall between them and Mounds
Their floral decoration..I am shopping for their Xmas decorations now:
I will get more pics of the other coop which is occupied but not painted inside, the wet cold weather caught me me before I could get it done so it will have to wait for Spring I guess.
Sorry I have been an absentee, being working on new college class, getting Cheyenne ready to fly to Florida on Saturday for 2 weeks to visit my family and the other half of her family and still working on this legal stuff as well as my medical stuff...need to get my tree up this weekend too
where does the time go? I need more hours in a day or more energy in me is what I need.
Oh LH! I can so empathize with you on the energy and time issues!
Love that picture of Junebug and Cheyenne! Ya know LH, if you ever grow tired of dealing with such a needy personality as Junebug's, you're always welcome to send her up here! Can you just imagine the chicks that she and 'Milio could produce?!? OMG! Talk about needy and high maintenance personalities that would spring from that union!!
On second thought....maybe we should keep those two the better part of a continents distance from each other!
Laura, I love the picture of your Del's checking out the frozen over pond. They are incurably curious about everything, aren't they?!?!
I have about 12 sewing projects to get done before Christmas and I don't think I'm gonna make it. Why?
Because the fricken fabric that I ordered more than TWO WEEKS AGO still hasn't arrived!!
Time is running out on me faster than a Bay of Fundy high tide! Especially when one of the gifts has to go all the way to ENGLAND!! That's the last time I volunteer to accept an over seas victim for a Secret Santa project!
Something tells me I'm going to be horribly embarrassed before it's all done!
This delay has already blown my reputation of being one of the first off the line to get their SS presents sent!
Stupid Hancock Fabrics!!
Well, it's gettin late, I'm rambling far too much and I think my butt just went to sleep without me! Yack with y'all in the morning folks! Good night and sweet dreams to y'all!
Love that picture, Laura! Doesn't even look like winter there. No snow?
Be very careful on those crutches, lady! Best wishes for an uneventful procedure and a quick recovery!
LadyHawk, I love that picture with Cheyenne and Junebug! So cute! I bet you are lovin' those new coops! Hurry now, it's almost Christmas and we are waiting for the coop decorations!

I would have loved to do that my dear friend....but....
...... well.....
.... then you'd know what I'm up to!
Laura! Hope your surgery goes well and that you're back up on your feet [sans the crutches] very soon! You be extremely careful while you are on the crutches dear lady. Let Bryan take care of the farm and you. For what good will it do if your foot is fine, but you've broken a hip!?! BE CAREFUL!!!
Well, my chicken chore time just doubled today. I start taking care of the next door neighbor's [Pete & Robin] place while they're gone visiting their kids in California. Three darling little hens, one pot bellied pig, one Barbados sheep and one bunny. I took one look at the chicken coop yesterday while receiving care instructions and decided right then and there that the first thing I am going to do is treat those sweet little hens to a nice clean environment! Something tells me that maybe Pete & Robin are getting a bit too old for keeping farm animals.
Don't get me wrong; I love P&R to pieces. They're great neighbors and we couldn't have picked better ones ourselves. But, for crying out loud! The poop boards in my coop are cleaner than that coop!!
And theirs is just a tiny coop!
So, with daylight burning, I wish you all a good day! I've got a coop to go clean! I just hope I have enough shavings on hand. Have a great day y'all!
