If I remember right, Junebug is quite the drama queen too

Kathy, when the Suedenator goes to that Great Roost in the Sky, I have plans to tear down that building and eventually build a nice barn behind the garden. No addition onto that thing.

I have thought about building a big ol' barn, but I stop short when I remind myself that I am too old to get any deeper into chickens than I already am!

That she is, Laura! She is alternately referred to as the crippled chicken (who only limps when she sees you watching her) and the politician, since she gets along with everyone. Her mama, June, is pretty much just there, doesn't get in the way, minds her own business....until Tiny attacks Mama or Daddy at roost time. Then, she puts on her Super Chicken cape and wallops Tiny to within an inch of her life. She don't put up with no antics from that Tiny Terrorist, no ma'am.

Kathy, the barn isn't for chickens, but for all the stuff that chickens displaced when the storage building was turned into two coops, all the stuff that is in the stand up crawl space under my house, but should be in the barn.

Well, if I had a big ol' barn, even with the best intentions, I am thinking I would fill it up with chickens. So, I best not go there.

Oh yes! Amy is looking very closely at little Ethel there! Great looking little lady, Jeremy! And yup! That's the plan this summer. I'll (hopefully) be getting my hands on some awesome Wheaties and Del eggs in the late spring and we'll go from there.

I do have a trio of Del's right now, but I'm not really all that impressed with the two girls. The roo is not top notch either, but he has the sweetest disposition. Nothing but a big old Mama's Boy!

And knowing my attachment to the boys, even though I'll not likely use 'Milio in any Delawegger breeding program, I'll still keep him around for his sweetness factor. He always comes a running whenever he sees me. 8 and a half months old and he's still just a big baby!

hehehehehe I bet Ethel is a politician too, even if still in the making. Better hope she never gets a scratch or then the show will be on and Oh the drama, the pain, the suffering, the limping, the BS!

Suede will NEVER go to the great roost in the sky because my heart could not take that...so let it be written and that is that!

Kathy, my heathens all look wonderful...cannot wait to get them they look like they need intense spoiling.

Aliens (*looks at Cyn") or not they are adorable and need official trainingin lap sitting, napping, TV watching, XBOX gaming and begging for treats. hahahahahahaha

Yeah, that will be a challenge, to keep the new barn "chicken-free", LOL.

Is there such a thing? I mean my chickens, with Lancelot in the lead, taught the Diva Do how to get into her hay storage....well they gave her the idea and the Diva Do put her weight into the task and broke in. hahahahahaha

Wow! and double wow. That is some building. I'm drooling but never in my lifetime would that happen. Even a small one like it would be great. My broody hen is sitting on mixed eggs right now. I officially set her yesterday. ? I do not know if any NH sperm was left in them or not but the mostly English orp. seems to be doing his job. So we will see. Gloria Jean
