Just to update and share.....My son of Suede and Meg....Hector



My Boys....Lancelot and Hector both leading my laying flock (both have healed up pretty well since the confrontation with the Rottweiller)

Mr. Fluffy and Leo's son have a few issues....Mr. Fluffy also challenged Hector through the fencing...that was not wise hahahahaha


Kathy's babies get their first day outside like big boys and girls...

Hey Kathy, pet them baby emus every day and you will have a big silly pet emu like i do.

I raised my emu on chick starter,with the baby chicks to keep him company.Of course he thinks hes a chicken,but i think game starter would be better.Today he eats layer feed, corn, sweet feed,sun flower seeds,you know, what every one else eats.

Kathy, looks like two pullets and a cockerel to me, at this point anyway. The buff one is a cockerel for sure. Keep an eye on the white one, which could bloom as a male later, but right now, looks girly.

I showed Mary's video of Stewart and Lewis to Tom. He said the eggs would a huge omelet.

Birds almost as tall as he is make him nervous. I think he'd allow guineas again, but emus?? No way, Jose!


Meg and Suede always made fabulous kids.


Oh, btw, all of June's eggs were not fertile. Isaac has some "splainin' to do.
