Yea Cyn I think your politician chicken is a boy...

Speaking of Quilts. Young Benjamin and his quilt have not met yet (except from a distance)...his mother says it is too beautiful to be spit up on just yet. LOL I went down and held the little tyke a bit ago....I got a chuckle of his mom and dad....first time parents crack me up...maybe because I had so many old timers around me when I became a mother that I never had the chance to give in to the panic or over the top procedures. So, this was the first meeting process

Mom & Dad: instructed me to use hand sanitizer, how to hold his head and turn him and and and blah blah blah

Me: Okie Dokie (sanitized my hands) I eased his little head in my hand and his bottom in my other hand GENTLY of course and then flipped him up to eye level and plopped him down in one hand and started swaying him and rubbing his tummy with my other hand and said "Benjamin...want to go ride your first bull, I see Pinky in the field?

Mom & Dad: *Gasp* *exhale* okie dokie

I mean the boy is just an ounce or two over 5lbs and a hair longer than 15" or so...he fits on my forearm just fine. hahahahaha

So, I have held him, swayed him, changed his diaper, told him about riding bulls and scared the crap out of his parents....my job there was done so I am back home now. I will be babysitting for them next week when they go out to dinner alone for the first time since she went to the hospital over a month ago. muahahahahahahaha

I shall get a pic of him and his quilt as soon as I can Cyn. :)

Well, LH, if that politician chicken is a male, then you can take Maretta's black barred daughter. She's a MOOSE, I tell ya! She's larger than her half sister, Dottie's daughter, long legged, and very friendly.

Tell Jenny that quilt is made to be spit up on! Use it, wash it, let him roll all over it. It can take it.

The Delaware turned into a boy overnight.

Now thats what orps are 'posed to look like!

Cyn, the final verdict is in. The second hatch of BRs is entirely boys. The first hatch was entirely girls. Ive never heard of such a thing in my life!!!

Tho it does make it very easy to compare the girls with each other and the boys with each other, since they are the same age.

Cyn, I just love seeing your handiwork!

A beautiful job, once again!

I wish someone had warned me about just how dang addictive this quilting stuff would be! I can't even walk into a craft store or visit a website without thinking, Oooooh! Those three fabrics would be awesome in a quilt!!!

**sigh** Oh well, I have only myself to blame! I know my own penchant for being OCD about certain things.

The last time it was crafting gourds! Anybody need some well used gourd crafting tools and supplies?

Kathy, you work way too hard and way too much! It's seriously cutting into your online time!

Kathy, I love your helpers. They seem most efficient in assisting you, checking everything out, cleaning up spilled feed and such.

Kathy....got a better pic of your olive egger boy's body and tail for you

His head (I have got to come up with a name for him soon, he is such a sweetheart)

His blues and new markings are going to be interesting to see when he fully feathers out

Just a weekly dose of the Politician Chicken aka Junebug (she drank some diet mountaindew the crazy bird had already gotten into someone's coffee cup)

I've had 3 sets of silkies by 2 different roos, all girls. I don't know if rare is the word. And all that time, I was waiting for another roo!
