Nutrena's NatureSmart Organic line is Organic/ Non GMO .Nutrena's product (at least, the "Nature-Wise" that I always see) isn't even non-GMO, much less Organic. Part of why I didn't offer it as a suggestion.
I know they make it, I've just never seen it on a shelf anywhere to buy.Nutrena's NatureSmart Organic line is Organic/ Non GMO .
Thanks for mentioning me. Op, I do have some fun, Organic treats and supplements, but I do t have any complete feeds available. I’ve considered making an herbal feed mix though…. Seems like quite a few people have replied, I hope you found what your looking for.I know @Weeg has some wonderful feed products on her etsy shop!
Not sure if you have found a feed yet. But depending on where in the hudson Valley you are you might be able to get Green Mountain Feeds http://www.greenmountainfeeds.com/ out of Vermont. I'm too far west to get anything besides a pallet load shipped unfortunately, but I have heard good things and they carry an 18% grower pellet.HI all,
I'm searching for organic grower or all-flock pellets for my girls. I was feeding Grubbly Farms which I liked but the crumbles are so dusty (clogs the feeders and wastes tons of feed) and their "pellets" they just pick out the whole grains they like (the pellets are where the added nutrients are - plus that's a layer feed). Bonus points if I can purchase online as I can't seem to find this elusive feed close to me.
I have 5 layers and 1 geriatric hen right now, adding more chicks this spring. I'm hoping to get them on grower/all flock so I don't have to change their feed from layer when I integrate the new chicks (and we'd love to keep a rooster if it works).
I'm having a tough time - any one use something like this in pellet form? Thanks!
Thanks! This is on my list. Not sure if you have found a feed yet. There is another organic feed local to you. I came across them recently. Very tempted to order a pallet of feed for my critters. Thanks! This is on my list.
Currently trying Mile Four which seems great, comes in pellets so I’m seeing much less food waste. I do have one hen that just doesn’t seem to like it. Still hoping she’ll come around. Otherwise Green Mountain is next if I can find it!
