I'm glad I don't use iOS

I used to have an Android but then it broke and I decided to go with Apple mostly cause they have a recently deleted photos folder which I find extremely useful (I accidentally deleted an amazing picture of the dogs one time and couldn’t recover it on Android. That was the last straw lol) and I just like Apple but now I’m not so sure. Idk. I only got this thing in March. Never had one before. I like it but this new update has me nervous

I have put that iOS 13 on my phone and iPad. Apparently the iPad one is a special iPad one or something Either way it’s got many changes on them both with so many things. Some I’m not sure I’m keen on, like curate pictures. The new update also stopped my phone connecting properly with my car via Bluetooth. Had to turn it all off and start again but fingers crossed it’s ok now and will be even better when I’ve done the bug fix.....

Yeah, I was reading another one that said a lot of people were having issues with it playing on the phone speaker (even with headphones in) instead of through Bluetooth or the headphones and some were saying it was dangerous cause they had to fix it while driving. Also apparently a lot of issues with dropped calls and battery life was another huge one. Apparently it drains super fast even if you’re not using it. Have you had that issue? I think I might wait till 14 or at least wait till 13.2 instead of the .1 series.

I gave up on the BYC search completely. Google or Yahoo do a MUCH better job searching for BYC threads and articles.

I've found this to be true too....tho I still keep trying to use the BYC advanced search...and speaking of updates(yes I'm going way off topic here)..will the BYC upgrade have a better search function?

That’s sounds awful!! And dangerous!!

And yeah, the battery life issues are probably biggest concern. I’m on mine all the time (which I probably shouldn’t be anyway but still ) and right now if I charge it overnight, I can use it all day without needing to charge it until maybe pretty late night. So I’d hate to have to charge it again after like 2 seconds. Heard some say they have to charge it for a few hours every few hours or else it will drain really fast. That won’t work for me. I think I will wait.

My iPad does seem to take longer to charge than the iPhone too but not too long. Definitely longer though.
