I used to have an Android but then it broke and I decided to go with Apple mostly cause they have a recently deleted photos folder which I find extremely useful (I accidentally deleted an amazing picture of the dogs one time and couldn’t recover it on Android. That was the last straw lol) and I just like Apple but now I’m not so sure. Idk. I only got this thing in March. Never had one before. I like it but this new update has me nervous
When I delete a photo it goes to my 'trash can.'

I then have to go to my trash can and empty it in order to delete it the second time...for good.

That’s how the Apple is. That’s what the recently deleted folder is. It goes in there and then I can select individual photos or select all and choose to permanently delete them or recover them. So yours has that??? Cause my old phone didn’t. Once they were gone, they were gone. I tried to see if there was a folder like that, Google how to recover deleted photos, even downloaded some apps to try but nope. Once it’s gone, it’s gone for good. That’s why I was so upset about it. But I never thought that maybe it was just my particular phone that didn’t have that feature rather than all Androids. And maybe the newer models do have it. Mine was a Galaxy S6. The newer Galaxies might have it and it seems like your Pixel does. That’s good to hear. Cause I always thought it was ridiculous to not have a feature like that in 2019.

Yes mine has this.

There's a limit to what we can do with the software.

Pixel 3

Ah so you and Kiki have the same phone then. The Pixel seems like a cool phone but the Google tracking me stuff makes me nervous haha also how is the camera? I’ve heard it’s supposed to be really good but I’m now spoiled by the iPhone camera so idk if I can go back :lau

Still got like 2 years on this thing anyway though. Only got it in March.

I think Kiki has a Pixel 2. The camera on my Pixel 3 is really good, especially the night mode.
