Is there a way to just do a search within a specific forum? I come across great info and then I can't ever find it again using the general search.

OR....is there a way an individual can keep track of favorite threads? Again, there are some really good threads I'd like to save for future reference.

Thank you.

I've been "bookmarking" them in my browser in a folder called "chickens." I have about 10 "favorites" in there, and they will take me back to the point at which I saved them. I also have copied whole postings and pasted them into a Word file so that I could save them permanently. sometimes threads on bulletin boards seem to disappear.

You can subscribe to a thread and have email notifications whenever there is a new post. Look at the bottom of this page to subscribe.

If you go to the bottom left side of the index page you can pull up your subscribed to thread.

U can also save the thread by going to the top of ur toolbar/browser and clicking on Favorites. Then click on Add to Favorites. A new window will come up and u click on Add again. That's all there is to it. When u want to view it again u just click on Favorites and then that item. I made a folder just for my chickens and I file everything uunder that folderwith different folders ie. Breeders, healthcare, coops, doors. Makes it much easier to find again. Hope this helps.

That's what I need! I guess I never noticed it because the Google search box is right out there in the open!

I do this but I have a lot of other favorites besides BYC. I was hoping for a specifc BYC method.

However...now that I think about it I have also seen BYC members copy favorite threads to their BYC member page.
