We definitely want to make search better, but we need specific examples to make sure we're calibrating things properly.

I think the hard part is having to dig through the results.
But that is part of "searching" you gotta look for it. right?

A reminder: We could really use some examples as mentioned here:

Hard to document... so many variables in the new system...and I understand search syntax, can't get my head around it yet to posit a definitive issue.

Some searches (like the ones that end in "/search/1232079/") aren't saved or able to be bookmarked. I'm not sure why. @BYC Support might know.

Hmmm I wonder if the ones I paste are working, will try to test them myself but maybe they'd work for me and no one else?

ya'll giving me a headache trying to even understand what your saying. Search needs to be simplified.
This is how I search, I google what I want to know and google brings me back here. second option I type this @KikisGirls , ..... LOL

Your method seems very practical to me.

I just did the same search but for me.
Um-- turns up A LOT of threads.
No--- I get zero.

Searches that end in a number don't always work... seems they're good for a few minutes, but then they're no good.
