Sebastopol Geese Eggs

I am currently attempting to incubate a few Sebastopol goose eggs. Should I be successful, I would be interested in purchasing an unrelated gosling. Since I do not know which I may be blessed enough to hatch, I am not sure if I will need a goose or gander. Will you have any babies in a few weeks? ljw

The pink ones next to the pool look a little long legged and skinny for my taste (BIG SMILE). But the white one closer to the camera looks good to me.

Could you tell me if it is normal for the contents of an incubating egg to become more liquid as the embryo grows. I candled my first fertile egg (that I collected and started incubating about April 1) mid week last week and I noticed that the contents had a dark area that floated freely around the egg, that the vanes were no longer very evident, and that there wasn't any air pocket at one end but the air moved freely around the egg as well. Is this normal?

I decided to call it quits on the egg and opened it up. The membrane around the egg had turned thick and brown. The embryo had developed into a gosling looking specimen about an inch and a half long with the beginning of feathers. But I don't think it was alive before I broke the egg shell open to investigate.

I have another egg that is a couple of days younger that is very liquid now but still has the air pocket on the end. The gosling doesn't appear to be getting any larger than a week or so ago so I think it is dead as well.

I have one or two other fertile eggs that are only about a week along but appear to be advancing. So I have some hope that I may end up with a living gosling, but not much.

Are you selling eggs or goslings? How much do you charge for the eggs; how much for the hatchling?

Good morning. Where should I follow? BIG SMILE (I'm responding to your "Following" reply.) Looking forward to hearing from you.

Hello!
They do not have angel wing. Eggs are 20 each or 3 for 50. S&H on eggs are 15.00.
I can also hatch eggs for you. If any are interested, please pm me.
Thanks.
