The bird in the back is the same color as the two splash and when they are up beside the light light grey they are a blue color. I am just confirming. Here is a younger picture, still looks grey in the picture. I will have to figure out a better way to take the picture to show color.

That looks like a washed out pic of a blue to me, grey is much darker. I can't find a good pic of my curly grey right now to show you

If I cross a smooth-breasted Lilac gander with a smooth-breasted Gray Saddleback goose, what do I get? won't some be curly and some be smooth and what colors happen from this cross?

Smooth x smooth normally only gives smooth.

You gander (pictured in the other thread) is not lilac. He is lavender. Coloring is all wrong for lilac.

From my own experience, using a smooth breasted bird even crossed over a very curly bird gave a large % of birds with little to no curly feathers aka totally smooth birds with one or 2 streamers and some "chap" feathers.

It was not what I was looking for, so I placed those smooth breasted birds in a local non breeding pet home with a huge lake. Now I can concentrate on the best quality curlies to eventually cross back over the smooth breasted colored females.

Ok, so I have a friend who has what she is calling a blue she thinks. When I look at hers it's a slate grey color compared to mine. To me mine look really light blue. Opinions?

Those are Splashes. Blue is a light grey but a solid color not just light grey mixed in with white although they have some white on their underside. Hope this helps.

Would you consider saddleback a color? Just wondering if I am in the right place.
Still trying to get an answer on twt vs angel wing. Are they the same thing? I thought twt was genetic and AW was from feed but now I am uncertain.
