No problem! Thank you for doing that! So you use the Baytril injectable? Into breast muscle? Does the bottle have instructions for the dose?

Everybody say a prayer or send positive vibes, the last egg I have has "shadowing" but has not pipped.

It is a Mama egg..............

Good afternoon Celtic and everyone else. Celtic I apologize for not answering your inquiry about the babies last night. I went to bed a little early last night due to a migraine. All day today I've been rushing around trying to get stuff together to go out of town overnight. You know how hard it is when you have animals. To answer your question, we wrapped the girl with the wing trouble. She is doing ok. Not the prettiest wrap job but it's holding the wing in place and she is not stressed. Beatrice the one who had the blockage seems to be doing great. She gets tired more easily and is more subdued but is filling out again nicely. She looks as though she might be smaller than the rest. She also seems to be getting a small dewlap. Her and Patton are the ones most attached to me. I love them all. I don't know how I managed with out geese for so long. I haven't had time to pursue the Pomeranians. They are local so I'm pretty certain I can get them whenever I want. I'm gonna do a little more research first. I may not get them til i can build a separate place to keep them. We'll see. Anyway signing off for now. Shannon

I am taking my mama goose into the vet today to get antibiotics for her sore leg. She said she will have to be on them for 3 weeks! I hope this solves the problem.
Thanks for all your support. Especially Josiechick!

I hope she's OK!

Just curious - maybe this is something you can ask the vet - why do they assume that it's an infection in the joint or the bone? Is that common in geese? That wouldn't have been the first conclusion I would've jumped to, rather than a sprain or something like that.
