Well- it happened again, and I caught him in action. Bloody mess. 3 of the babies with the most feathering are now covered with blood and torn out shafts. There is so much blood I cannot believe somebody isn't dead. It took everything in me to not snap the perpetrators neck. What do I do with him?

We had two grey SB Poms wreak havock on three Sebbies this year. I ended up moving them to their own stall and sold them. For someone you want to keep I would house seperately, assuming he is doing it only when locked up?

Our three who the Poms were feathering eatting off of recovered just fine once they were separated.

Oh good- glad they recovered. I can't see how all those bloody stubs will grow back though? Yuck.
I am going to lock him up seperate at night. Hoping its just the one- I saw him doing it and his whole face was bloody too.
Did I say bloody enough times?

"Fabio" is hanging in so far. I thought he might be a goner this morning and prayed with the "700 Club" at the end of their show this morning and amazingly his eyes are open now and he looks better.

He has been in a small incubator and I am setting him up a regular brooder area for this evening. More prayers can't hurt.
