Anybody need another lawn mower?

I've got an extra smooth-breasted splash listed in BST. Selling 2 toulouse juveniles as well. Have to cut back so the grass has a chance to catch up. All this rain the last 2 weeks actually made things worse than the drought has. Ugh.

Not to change the subject but could you post some pictures of the smooth-breasted splash please?

Mycutekittys, very sorry to hear about the dog attacking your birds,

I had that happen to me once the neighbors dog (greman sheppard) came over and killed 6 chickens and 6 one month old ducklings and the neibor tried saying it was my fault cause they where in our back yard and not in a fenced enclosure. Sorry to hear about your loss and I hope the dog gets caught by AC and your neighbors too.

The 2 middle left are smooth breasted splash. At least I think they are- they might end up more curly.

I try and keep them out grazing for as long as possible daily, no need to increase protein in take.

OK. Mine are on grass 24/7. I just thought they may need an extra boost while growing all those feathers.

I don't know- seems like all the ones we see are babies to 2 or 3 years old. Does anybody have any 20 year olds? Or even 10 year olds?

Wow- she was gorgeous.
Carolina Waterfowl Rescue ends up with some pretty elderly geese that they post pics of, but I never see any sebastopols. Just wondering if you can tell. Some of those old girls look like they've seen it all. If only they could talk.
