Well, unfortunately my male experienced a big backslide in progress this past week. Stopped walking completely. Slowed down eating a bit too. I made the difficult decision and culled him. The injured leg was pretty badly atrophied and had about half as much mass as the other leg, he also had some kind of cystic thing going on with one of his testes. He'll be made into a fine soup for the family but I will miss him; the remaining female of the pair seems rather depressed too.
As such I guess I am now looking for someone in NorCal who will have a male breeding age or older in the spring. By then the turkeys will be moved to their own place so this can't happen again; I'm still quite sure it's that old brat Brooks who hit the male's knee hard enough to almost dislocate it. He's lucky he's pretty cause he sure ain't nice.

I will have around 20+ birds to list for sale as soon as I can take photos. The weather has not cooperated with me at all this fall. It finally stopped raining and now it is a bit cold out there.

So we got a companion for our goose. We are not sure what differences we are in for. So any input would be good. He is a Double White Saddel Back ?

My husband read they don't need a pond?
Get them a kiddie pool. I don't know which bird you are referring to, but a see an embden looking goose and a lavender looking goose.
They don't need a pond most of us don't have that luxury but mine sure do love their kiddie pools I got the biggest one I could find for my 4 geese.

Hey our Marshmallow lives for swimming! So we dug a hole and empty it often so it is clean( has liner)
