Oh so pretty. What a puffball. Doesn't look so happy with the accommodations, lol. Reminds me of my dog when I had him at the shows, not happy with being crated. Congrats again, I hope I end up with one half as pretty.

Congratulations!!!!!! What a thrill!!!

Gary won Reserve Champion Waterfowl at the PPBA Show this past weekend in Stockton, CA. There were 423 waterfowl shown; total birds 3800.

I will try to get a picture posted sometime tomorrow.

While I am over here I have a mating season question for the seasoned sebbie owners. This is my first year with multiple ganders running around out there. We are in the midst of a move so all the geese are still running together. For the last several days I have had several ganders bickering over dibs on the pools. There is a lot of neck biting and mounting behavior but it appears more like displays of dominance than mating. I do have one grey that I thought (

) was a goose but "she" has been in the midst of all the squabbling. Is it possible that a young female would be not ready to mate and fight off the amorous attempts of the boys or do I have more ganders than I thought...
