Christine congrats! Look up horizon shipping boxes, the swan box holds two adults nicely. You can go off of their measurements for a crate for the car. Large size and enjoy.

I feed mazuri and oats and boss to all the geese. A few don't like boss though

Thanks Celtic! It looks like the dims on the swan box are 32" x 16" x 16" wide. That's smaller than I was expecting, so that's good news.

Wow Kathleen, I have not had that many hatch under a momma. Pretty little buff. I am on my second hatch. 13 in the second group. I will have to post some pictures. Is the buff male the one you have had?

I had a smooth grey hen on 15 eggs..... they started hatching yesterday... this morning 10 are out..... and I think 2 more are pipped.
ALL are colored! YAY!!
I had her with a couple different males.... buff and white. The males have great feathering!
At least 2 of the babies are buff.... the rest are dark.
I'll get more pics when mom has finished incubating them

Yes, same buff male... he matured out really nice... has the best curly chest on the farm!
The white male is my Saffron son..... he's also lovely!
This grey hens mom is a nice curly grey, dad is Saffron... not sure why she didnt get the curls, but all these babies should be maxed out with curls.
This morning.... I counted 15 babies wadeling around with mom.... so fun to see!
if anybody wants them.... i cant keep 15!

More of this years early hatches. 19 others growing out, 12 in lockdown this weekend, and they are still laying and two racks in the cabinet are full.
