Egg laying is seasonal and they lay every other to every three days give or take. We saw first eggs in January and last eggs in May. However we are in Florida so Jan is not typical for many. Feb/March through May is more the norm for many.

Anybody need another lawn mower?

I've got an extra smooth-breasted splash listed in BST. Selling 2 toulouse juveniles as well. Have to cut back so the grass has a chance to catch up. All this rain the last 2 weeks actually made things worse than the drought has. Ugh.

How big of a crate will I need to carry a full grown Sebastopol? Can I feed them 16% chicken laying crumbles or should I feed them 20% Flock raiser?

depends on how you are transporting them? How long, how far? In a car to transport home a large pet taxi pet kennel (the plastic style approved by airlines) would work very well, with a couple of old towels in the bottom so the goose doesnt slip around. Are you hauling one or two?

We're transporting 4 geese about 70 miles, from seller to my home. I have some poultry carriers, but I don't know how tall the geese are. Thanks for the link.

2 adult Sebastopol geese fit in 1 swan sized shipping box. 1 adult Sebastopol goose will fit in an omni box poultry shipping box. Anything smaller they wont fit.

My carriers are 1'H 2'W and 3'L.

You can fit one goose in a box that size, but they will have to sit the whole way. I would suggest the AC on high also.
