Sebbi with snubed nose.....anyone have this before?

Bills are very vascular, they bleed like crazy. I had a goose named Murphy who got into the tackle box and got a salmon spoon through his bill. Between the bleeding and goose slobber, he appeared to be covered with blood!!

I'd get a vets advice on this one.

Sweet little girl, if she can eat and drink and breathe, I'd just let her be just like she is

Kim65 is right. Beaks/bills can bleed a lot. They can be re-shaped etc. A lot of work has been done with parrots that have been hatched with deformed beaks and/or parrots that have had beak damage due to accidents. I think she can be helped. You need to find a vet that can do it in your area. In some cases a DDS has been consulted to use certain materials available to them - to re-shape the beak/bill and have it grow out properly. Good luck with her!

welcome to the world of us kind hearted fools
