Sebright pullet crowing

I’m not 100% sure but they are almost at point of lay, they would look much different if one was a cockerel. :confused:

Sebrights are hen-feathered, so they never get the pointy saddle and hackle feathers.
I would expect a male to have a noticeably bigger/redder comb than a female, though.

If they both start to lay eggs, then that would be pretty good proof of being female :)
But if any of your hens manages to HATCH eggs, you will know there's a stealth male in the flock!
 
Seabrights actually are one of the chickens where the male and females look similar, but as they get older, the roo will look more roo, but they don't get those roo tail feathers that other chickens do.

They sure are cute. Sebright hens are known for crowing. If you do a search on BYC you'll find it's reasonably common. I had an Orpington pullet who crowed every morning until she started laying and after that she never crowed again.
