Okay things are not looking good for me, I have one lurkey (lol) egg, and it is starting to get old. Bit i am setting it anyways, and some chicken eggs a week later. I skipped a couple hundred posts so, what did I miss.

TUkey eggs can hold out a loooooong time-- I'm sure it is ok if you want to set it now. I know I can't set until sometime next week as I have sold all my turkey eggs!!

Ok so an update, I set early. Last friday to be exact. I had to toss one duck egg which leaves me with 6 eggs 4 duck eggs are doing good can't see in the darker grey egg or my B.R turkey egg. SOOO I hope all goes well. I really want me a turkey!! Lol.

Powers out and its sunny as all get out. Been out for 30 mins. Temp in bator reading 90. Ugh. Hopefully my eggs will be okay, have some in lock down and my duck and turkey eggs.

Durr they should be OK. When are they due to hatch? If the power stays out a whole lot longer, you may want to consider putting a towel or blanket around the bator to help hold in the heat. Just try not to cover up any vent holes.
