i had a duck in with a rooster for a while (long story.. not for breeding though the roo certainly worked at it).. every egg was fertile.. nothing ever developed beyond a giant bullseye.. mainly because the chromosome count doesn't add up
even if one of the hybrids did start to develop many times they will die before incubation is complete.. and the few who do hatch rarely live beyond a few months
Good to know. And I also read the Miracle thread. Don't expect much, but will be interesting to see if anything happens.
At least we know the old gal still got it! (And with a much younger fella too.)
