My solo Narragansett is finally starting to look more like a gangly turkey than a cute little poult. Sudden growth spurt, I guess. Sometimes I think I'll name it Nigel, sometimes I think Nancy.

It is quite bonded with the CdM "tutors" and often hoots in distress when it realizes none of them are in its general vicinity.

I have about 17 from those first few weeks of hatching, and they slide right thru the tall grass making little paths. I was weeding off the beaten path, when a little one parts the tall grasses making a tunnel all the way to me. THey are a wonder.
