Second duckling trouble swallowing water. Advice please

The duckling, Charlie, is doing well now. I placed a band on his leg and placed him back in with his family.
This swallowing problem has occurred in two ducklings out of at least 40 fathered by the same drake, Waggles. He seems to always have issues with his feathers looking bad, like they don't repell water. Looks a little water logged. Other than that he seems healthy. It's hard to tell which hen is the mom because the two clutches merged together. Both hens appear to be in good health.
All of our muscovy free range, are fed purina all flock and have cracked corn and sunflower seeds available to them as well. We have springs, a pond and dishes of well water all around.

Another note: Two ducklings had incidents where there heads got stuck. One new hatchling got its tiny head stuck in the poultry netting and another got its head stuck in one of the holes in a small feeder. Both of them seemed fine after but I did not monitor them closely during the day and only discovered the swallowing problem when I put food and water out. I have no idea if the two that had the problem swallowing were the same two or not since they were mixed in with 8-12 others in each of their clutches. Seems sort of coincidental and may in fact not be genetic but related to a neck injury. Guess that would make sense as well since there symptoms did not fit in with wry neck and mysterious to the more experienced duck friends on BYC.
