Second hatch ever! Watch with me

We do in our adult hens coop and i was going to with the babies but the lady at sutherlands suggested this

We tried small shavings before with our baby dicklings this time but they started choking on it. That stuff is just to small for them.

It could also be the delayed hatch causing the issues, since they developed slower than normal. I would think they will be fine in a couple more days.

Changed them over to this last night. Everybody seems fine this morning so far

I didn’t get to see any of her birds:/ she just brought the eggs to my car. She gave me 3 Bielefelder eggs and 3 Lakenvelder eggs for $9
