A month or two ago I was out chilling with my flock and for one reason or another decided to pick up my EE Jellybean. She gave me the submissive squat but then she waddled away from me (still in the squatting position). She then plopped a shell-less egg onto the ground. I had thought it to be a sudden glitch but after receiving another one yesterday evening I’ve wondered if it may be something else. Of course, I can’t think of any reason for this to happen multiple times. Her eggs are usually beautiful, blue, and with thick shells. She is a healthy bird in general and really don’t think there is some sort of disease behind this. They have Free choice oyster shell and eat a layers feed (unsure what brand 🤦‍♀️).
Can anyone think of something that may have caused this to happen more than once?

Needs more calcium in the diet. I got those for a while too, then I got some food with more calcium.
No, I don’t think that’s it. Her shells are strong and great quality most of the time, she’s on layers feed and has free choice oyster shell. I imagine if she needed more she would take it.

If her eggs are normally really good and you just get a softie once in while.
I'd not worry about it, as long as she's eating/drinking/pooping/moving around OK.

Are you feeding treats and other foods?
How old is she, in months, and how long has she been laying?
