A month or two ago I was out chilling with my flock and for one reason or another decided to pick up my EE Jellybean. She gave me the submissive squat but then she waddled away from me (still in the squatting position). She then plopped a shell-less egg onto the ground. I had thought it to be a sudden glitch but after receiving another one yesterday evening I’ve wondered if it may be something else. Of course, I can’t think of any reason for this to happen multiple times. Her eggs are usually beautiful, blue, and with thick shells. She is a healthy bird in general and really don’t think there is some sort of disease behind this. They have Free choice oyster shell and eat a layers feed (unsure what brand ).
Can anyone think of something that may have caused this to happen more than once?
