Second sick hen in a month

Have you checked her crop to make sure it's emptying overnight? I understand she's puffed up, but that stance I've seen before in hens that are having reproductive issues (trouble laying an egg, peritonitis, cancer, etc.) and the crop has slowed due to inflammation in the body.
I would feel for an egg, feel the abdomen between the legs under the vent for fluid or bloat. Monitor the crop to see that it's emptying, if not, then begin crop treatment (I start with giving coconut oil - it's all in the article linked below).

Well to update everyone, I checked for mites and lice. Never saw anything but decided to treat prophylactically. Treated them 7 days ago today. By Sunday afternoon, she was acting better and keeping up with the flock has they sunned, dusted, and free ranged the yard. They were great all week. They free ranged all week. No more signs of illness. Let them out this morning into the run while we were gone. Everybody came out happily. Came home from church today, she was laying dead in the floor of the coop. I’m just devastated.
