Second time Around

I’m back with a new flock of 4 hens. My last flock was killed by raccoons and recently got new pullets. Wow. Been missing my peeps. We’re still working on names.

Are you beefing up their coop/run with security measures.? Other wise another predator will easily pick off any new birds you add.

Yes. I put my new coop on blocks and it has a feature to close the roost door at night. Also, my livestock guardian dogs are in the yard most of the time.

I would put out a trap every night just in case it comes back.
