Second try at hatching quails! (This time I'm sharing the whole experience with you!)

I am now on a quest to find the perfect room to put the incubator into, my basement is too cold for the water to evaporate, while most of the other rooms are too low in humidity. It's gonna be a hard one.
As long as the temperature in the basement is warm enough for the incubator to reach its set temperature, it will not affect the water inside the incubator ability to evaporate.

Welp, the eggs just arrived, out of 48, around 30 were not cracked, so I'm gonna incubate those, it won't fill my incubator, but it's better than nothing. Air sacks seem all fine, so i sprayed them with some disinfectant for eggs by Brinsea and now I will let them settle for a couple of hours before placing them in, hopefully illI get at least a 30-40% hatch rate :).

:hugs Get well soon.
Thanks :), also, it's technically still day 5( eggs were placed in the bator at 6pm and rn it's 11am) and I am feeling a little better, so I candled them all. Out of 24 22 showed signs of normal embryo development, while 2 were broken and I didn't spot them when I first got them. Considering how bad the packaging was, I'm actually kind of surprised none of the intact ones didn't develop.

Great...get rid of those two cracked ones.
