Thanks , if I had to judge I'd say they are all Italians/golden apart from Texart, so hopefully I'll be able to feather sex them all at 4 weeks

Cuties! They look like golden Italian/Manchurian types or pearl-fees. Depends on whether the baby yellow fluff becomes golden/yellow or white

Nice! Thanks I would be more inclined to say Italian, since here in Italy it is very rare to find breeders who keep any other color apart from Italian and pharaoh

They are most common around here, too. And Tibetan! That's it lol.

Hmm, just noticed one chick shaking, I think he may be cold and wet himself in the water dish. I took him out of the brooder and used an air dryer to see if itdi help, I let him in the brooder again after drying him off, I'll now wait and see if he keeps doing it.

Maybe i'll add more rocks to the water dish too, they seemed like enough, but maybe they aren't after all.

NVM, he was just cold most likely, he is now dry and happy again. I gotta figure out a way for them not to throw food and water everywhere now, since they started to do that ahah

A plastic container with very small holes cut in the side.
So small the just their head fits in. Quail babies are dumb...if the hole is too big they will get inside the container and not be able to figure out how to get out.
I just deal with the mess the first week until they get a little bigger then I switch to containers.
