Its Day 11 and I've candled the eggs again. I've tried to take a photo of the eggs that I have questions about. Its tricky to take a decent photo of them!

Egg 2. This egg has a single visible dot, but this doesn't move when the egg is turned



Egg 4. Not sure if this is a blood ring or not. Is suspect so.


Egg 6. Not sure about this one. The egg doesn't have a round end and a pointy end - it has two pointy ends and it symetrical, the mass is fixed at one end and doesn't appear to move.


Egg 8. This egg looks good, but is very speckled. More than I can get the photo to show


Egg 11. I think this is a dud. Can't see anything else other than what I think it just the yolk.


The other eggs all look good and vary from a little wriggling peep to a large mass that's difficult to see in to.

I'd throw them all except 8. I don't think there's anything in there, but I'd kick myself myself if there was, so I'd wait a few more days until you can definitely tell whether there is or not!

Results of Candling at Day 13:

Good = visible signs of growth and actuve movement of peep.

1 Developing, but smalled than the others
2 Blood Ring = thrown out
3 Good
4 Blood Ring = thrown out
5 Good
6 Some movement noticed so keeping for now
7 Good
8 Good
9 Started to develop, but died at some point. Small embryo. = thrown out
10 Good (and a big 'un)
11 Infertile = thrown out
12 Good
13 Good
14 Good
15 Good
16 Good
17 Good and very, very active
18 Good

Lockdown and next/last candling on the 18th. Hoping for at least 1 peep to arrive on the 21st.

Ok, we're now in lockdown since yesterday morning with day 21 being tomorrow evening.

The temperature is 99.8-100.5F but I can't get the humidity past 68%. - Should I get a water mister/sprayer and spray some water over the eggs to soften them?

The first egg pipped last night at 10pm and hatched at 4.45pm today! The chick seems healthy, has had a drink and is trying to find its feet.
