See, this is why I'm so glad I found BYC! What great people! tdgill, like me, was concerned about whether OP really wanted to put chicks under the girl, and now that he has assured her he IS interested in more chicks, she's giving him all kinds of options. I am searching for baby chicks or eggs being incubated that are near due to hatch. I may be able to pick up day old RIRs' tomorrow. I havn't heard back from the farm that might have incubating eggs available. I know it would be risky to move them. Just trying to find a way to help the determined mom to be.
