Secret hiding place (picture heavy)

I couldn't stand it any longer... My Nana vibes are stirring. I've started kniting a chicky blankie. That's better than pacing.

I dunno the answer, but if it were me ... I would just let her be for a few more days. It can't hurt. I don't think I would candle, as it may disorient the chick preparing for hatch. (If that really happens ... I read it somewhere!

dont fret shes sitting on SO many eggs they probably soak up alot more of her heat and the nests temp probably lower since shes dispersing it over how many eggs 30 something? instead of 6-8? Just let her be! shes already discarded bad eggs and shes sitting on them consistantly so just let her do her momma thing! Christmas will come soon enough!

Has momma to be tossed any more eggs aside reducing the brood she is sitting on?

I don't know this, but am curious to know; With that many eggs under her, when they do start to hatch, will they be inhibited from being able to hatch all the way? In other words, if eggs are on top of each other, will they be OK? Will she hear them?... feel them..?

I don't think I would candle the eggs at this time, however I would be inclined to lift her little butt up and look
