I also just spoke with my wife. Three of the chicks have made an appearance out from under momma. Her and the kids are now excited and love watching them.

This is such a fun learning adventure for all of us.

We have taken all of the eggs out from under her which is a good thing because they were all bad.

I did not want to confuse her anymore with the eggs and chicks. Not sure if she was counting them and would have figured it out - 3 eggs yesterday and today still 3 eggs but 4 chicks - hmmmmm.

WOW just read this whole thread. I have to say im glad I was not here from day one as I could not have taken the stress!! It was like a good book, I didnt want it to end but couldnt wait to get to the end to see what happened. So..... GRATS on the babies!!!!! Im glad the hen gets to be a moma!
