Just got a message from my wife. All four chicks were out and about. Also two were climbing on momma's back.

This has been such an up and down ride. I am so glad to have support from everyone on here.

I will try to get some more pics tonight and put them up here.

This is such great news! I have a broody OEGB with a short attention span. I want to crate her, and she how she does, but I think I will probably just put a few chicks under her.

Thanks for the happy story! We need more of these in our lives. You do realize, don't you, that you probably will never be able to eat, give away or otherwise remove this particular chicken from you life before she's ready to go. Congratulations, I think you have a chicken friend for life.
