Security cam for spying on chickens

I would love to be able to watch my chickens while I am in the house. What kind of camera did you get, where did you get it, and how much did it cost? I just ordered an automatic coop door opener, so the coop is going high tech!

I have a camera like this pointed at my live trap. It is fun to lay in bed and watch the critters monkeying around. No doubt when you get one.

I bought it from Lorex on sale, lemme find the link to the site. Got.... ummmm "low end" version that looked the easiest for me to install. About 150 bucks for two cameras (20% sale when I bought it). Color daytime, B&W image at night.

Although the cameras CAN be run on 9v batteries, they do NOT last very long - only 4 hrs or so at night because IR takes a lot of juice. So you need to find electical outlet or power where you want to place the cameras.
