See nothing on day 5

Hi guys, I’m new to incubating. So I’m not really noticing anything in my egg. I’m thinking maybe it’s not viable?
The photo is today on day 5, I can’t tell much difference.
Is this egg not viable? Should I leave it longer?

Dang, @sourland beat me to it. At the risk of repeating...

By day 5, there typically should be some visible blood vessels, as shown in this egg candling chart. I don't do my first candling until day 7, so you may want to candle again in a couple of days to confirm that it's a clear. Better safe than sorry, IMO.

I was thinking that I should be seeing some veining by now from reading up about development. I’ll give it another go day 7 in case. Think I may have waited too long from laying to incubation as it was a shipped egg.

Shipped eggs are always 'iffy' because of conditions they experience in transit.

Do you know how long it was from the date laid to the date you set the egg? Plus, the shipping stress is brutal on eggs.

Not exactly, the eggs were assumbly laid a few days before shipping and then shipping itself took two days, then I had an issue with my incubator so eggs were left for another few days before the new one arrived. So chances for a good hatch were already low. Thought I’d give it a go just incase though.
