We actually allready have a seed swap thread started on byc. I got a ton of seeds and plants i wanted to try off of it this year. I am planting beets tomorrow! If they are good and big and healthy I will swap with someone. Also, I have a heirloom tomato that should be ready in 20 days. I will be saving the seeds from it. It has grown nicely since I planted it! I am still trying to decide on my Amaranth. Anyone out there have this rare seed? if so, which variety?

i tried amaranth this year it didnt do well here but we had a drought again. Sorry bout the link it works for me i just checked it. Nothing wrong with starting a new swap but the one allready going is well allready going and has a lot of swappers. If you want you can go to the swap section of the forums it should be listed near the top as i am in the process of swapping right now for some lemon mint. Hope to see you there.

Which variety did you grow? Was it the edible variety or the ornamental?

It was edible. I grew it for the birds. It was Golden Giant. Didnt do well but we had a drought. Also i hated trying to remove the grain it was poking me constantly. Would try it again once i find a way to do that without being poked.
