I was wondering if there would be any interest in a seed train? I heard of someone that did one a few years ago and thought how neat it would be to do.

For those that don't know what it is. The person that decides to start it will get a yellow envelope and put some seeds in it, then they will send it to the next person in line. The person receives it takes what seeds they want and put some in they don't need, then they send it on.

Could someone else start it? I am not good at starting things like this!

Any interest?

That is a cool idea! I would be interested. I am vegetable garden 'challenged', I have not had any luck growing veggies, but I love to grow trees and flowers!

Lisa, Hope you are doing well. Now is the time to plant peas and lettuce. I don't think you get any frost where you are but peas, collards, onions and lettuce can tolerate a frost. I grow the collards mostly for the birds as they just love them. I know around Christmas we usually get out first frost. We are getting ready to put ours in. Are you still coming up my way? The Inverness poultry show is Saturday October 26th. Alieda
