I've also found myself scouring the local houses for chicken coops. I want to see how big they are, the kind of run they used, its location, the type of chickens they have, etc. And no, I didn't even notice this stuff before the chickens came, but I was already weird so it's no biggie.
Question: Am I the only one who gets upset when you see an old chicken coop that's well designed and charming, but basically rotting away, unused by the owner? I truly believe that for every chicken coop I've seen in my area that's being used, I'll see four to five that are basically a junk storage dump or an empty hull (I did see two coops that were converted to decor, but...). Ahh, such a waste.
